Daily chronicling on commuting- Commuting isn't for the faint-hearted. You need nerves of steel to survive the jungle that is commuting. No matter whether you're trying to get to or from work, getting to the airport for that well deserved holiday, it's a jungle out there and only the fittest survive. This is about my view of what's going on around me when I commute, on every day occurrence around other commuters, sometimes funny, sometimes frustrating.

My DOS man finally gets a seat when a commuter disembarked at Stevenage. We give each other a smile as he seats besides a slightly greyhead gentleman. My neighbour stirs..... goes into a coughing fit, opening her eyes as she continues to cough. She gets out her blackberry and fiddles with it momentarily, lays it on the little table in front of her, folds her arms and goes back into sleep mode. It's a nonstop journey to Kings Cross now, then the Northern line to London Bridge, then straight to Gatwick, check in before heading straight to the Sofitel air lounge for breakfast/brunch and plenty of DRINKS!
