I zigzag my way through the crowd and walked up the moving escalator
The nearest departure sign to platform is not working.......doh!
I make my way through to the concourse and search for the 17:10 to Peterborough 
And there it was......the number four staring brightly at me
Having eight minutes before departure, I take a leisurely walk towards platform four and enter my usual carriage 
I spot a train buddy but alas..... no vacant seat beside her
I sat myself beside a middle-aged suited gentleman
He is fiddling with his iPod nano...... Sticks the earplugs on and continues to read his free Evening Standard
