09:10.......just passed the barrier at Stratford station, up the steps to the platform and .........saw the train depart!
A minute later another arrived, welcomed me into its embrase and rumbled on to Mile End where I disembark...........to enter the just arrived, District line train
There are plenty of empty seats
My carriage is quiet.......... Mist of the commuters are busy either reading from their Kindle reader or their iPad 2, reading the 'Metro', fiddling with their mobiles or simply just trying to get some sleep
