17:47......... Walked through the maddening crowd heading for Covent Garden underground station on the Piccadilly line (my new journey to Kings Cross St Pancreas)
I got into the crowded lift full of young foreign students and endured the noisy brats for what felt like eternity
I am now hoping to get the seven minutes past six train
18:00....... Platform seven for the seven minutes past six train to Peterborough
I spot commuters on platform seven....... A sea bed of bodies waiting for ..........the arrival of the train
I, like them, dutifully wait also.
